Table Service and Intro to Wines
In table service I was able to work in the NECI restaurant, NECI on Main, as server, a hostess, and a runner. I shadowed with the paid staff for a few nights and then they gave me my own tables. I learned how to work with the Aloha and Open Table computer systems. We also had wine tasting class in which we learned about wine, wine pairings, vineyards, and the grapes themselves. Finally we had an etiquette dinner in which we dined in the restaurant and learned proper etiquette.
